I decided to watch horror movies again this afternoon, but as it turns out, my copy of the Candyman film is in French, and I don't speak French. It was still impressive, though, and even when I was a kid I've always thought Candyman was the best looking horror film villain of all time. I had to Google Candyman while I was watching the film to help me follow the plot, and I ended up in a scary website for kids. It was so cool, 

Thinner Movie

I can't decide whom to root for in this movie. In this movie, an obese lawyer (Billy) who defends a crime boss hits and kills a gypsy woman on the road. He and two others cover up the poor old woman's death and were cursed by the gypsy woman's husband. The curse has Billy lose and lose weight until nearly dead. The two others who were responsible in the old woman's death commit suicide. In order to compel the gypsies to take the curse off him,

Anvaya Cove Weekend, Ocean Park Date, Lonesome Spa/Shopping Day

I'm sitting at home alone while Carlo is spending time with his friends. He left about 2pm today and will be home tomorrow. I tried occupying myself by going to the mall this afternoon, and ended up having a mani / pedi, a facial and foot spa, buying two pairs of shorts, a pair of shoes and a tee shirt. (News: spa girl said I have normal skin -yey!- unlike the last time I went when I was told to have dry skin. Had two cups of Hot Banana Buzz from Mondo Juice, I am addicted!) .When I went home I tried watching the movie my boss lent me (Any Given Sunday) but I can't keep up with the plot. So now I ended up blogging, and I'd like to write about some stuff which made me happy these past few weeks.

No one is ever too old to be young

My boyfriend received gift certificates for his birthday. He decided to share with me in exchange for some help in shopping, and being the sensible people that we are, we made a list of about a dozen things to buy with the gift certificates: headphones, a cellphone, a room thermometer, shirts, trousers, ties and other office apparel for everyday use, a frying pan or a coffee maker or tableware for our apartment, etcetera, etcetera. In the end, we immensely enjoyed ourselves by spending a huge portion of the gift certificates buying and enjoying what we normally wouldn't spend money on: toys.

Yes, toys, those things that kids play with.
